Not Brothers Best! Can only use this printer with an iPad. Had a terrible time trying to get it to work with a PC and Labtop.
Like Looking For Waldo It connects to the computer wirelessly, it connects to the router wirelessly, it connects to my phone wirelessly. When I hit print, yeah, we start looking for the printer... after anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, it prints... oh wait, jammed. Clear the jam, and yes, the printer forgot what it was printing. I absolutely HATE this printer! Like really really. This is the most disappointing upgrade I have ever made. The biggest problem is with the scanner! The images are extremely saturated. Adjusting the contrast and brightness levels on the scanner does not address the issues with the scanned image. A second issue is, and it makes ZERO sense, when the image is scanned with the image feature, the completed scan can only be opened with MS Paint. Why? Lots of problems. Rarely functional, despite everything being alright on the computers.

Run as fast as you can from this printer Died already dont waste your money
Won't come out of sleep mode. No problem printing on the printer, but once it goes into sleep mode and I want to print again it won't. Will not come out of sleep mode. I hit the ok button to wake it up and it does light up but still won't print. Only way to print again is to power off and back on again.
Awful! Just a stupid device which functions only to sell ink This stupid printer just sits under my work desk trying all day to sell me ink. Overpriced Brother Ink. Incessant reminders to buy ink. IT WILL NOT print a simple black and white document when the cyan ink is down to 1/4. Even when you select 'print in black and white'. The four ink cartridges which come with it will cost twice as much to replace and the original printer INCLUDING the cartridges. Buy two if you must buy one. Do not buy this printer I've owned this printer for 14 mos. It's an ink hog. It won't print if any cartridge is out. Most frustrating is an error that is telling me I have a paper jam or mechanical problem. Never had a paper jam. It will print but will not scan or copy. Not sure how something breaks just sitting in an office. So I now have a one dimensional, ink eating printer. Out of warranty of course. Brother says take it to the nearest repair center.
