continues to drop wireless connection Bought one and had problems with maintaining wireless connection. After multiple customer support contacts, the problem would return. Uninstalled drivers and reinstalled. Wireless would connect but not print. Since I had ink, I bought the same product; thinking the first was defective. Had the same problem again. It is low cost and great when it works but I would not recommend this product unless you want to be frustrated.
Disappointed Took longer to receive than they said. Stressed out by the everyday notifications that it was coming that day and didn't come. I needed it soon because I have my own business and work from home. I went through the process of uninstalling the old and trying to install this one only to find that something was wrong with the start up ink cartridge chips. Without using them can not complete installation!!!!! Waiting for replacements and I have to send the useless ones back for inspection. I am delayed and upset. I w... read more
Brother's printer software installation software is bad installation software is not intuitive at all, freezing at some points, and with misdirection as to what to do first, or what's going on. Nightmare. and to make matters worse, there's limited info in the instructions, and it doesn't come with the cable to use usb connection (the other end of the usb is not standard)
Printer is fine. Replacing the ink is a scam. It nice and cheap and works well until the ink runs out. It doesn't really run out but that chip makes the printer think that( shaking it and hearing ink sloshing inside means theres more in there) and wont work until you replace. I don't fall for that ink scam so I simply throw it out and purchase another cheap printer with ink. Not worth the buy Bought this to print papers for school and it couldn't do even that much. It gets very jammed every time I try to print anything. Technical support was no help. I ended up returning it.
Lies. Lies. There is no Ethernet on this printer.
Only works sometimes Works great when it does, 90% of the time it won’t connect to print and always says offline even when the printer says it is connected to the same WiFi as the computer or phone.

2-Sided Scan Warning It does not have automatic two-sided scanning and copying. I don't know why it seems that most of these manufacturers are intentionally misleading people about that kind of ability.
