Average Slow printer not worth the money extra heavy
Disapointed Touch screen responds, easy set up, comes with printer cartridges. Print quality is sub par. If it's only going to be used for printing documents it's fine but not fast. Color print settings are defaulted to a washed out level, easily changed, but not improved. If you need color copies, this is not the one for you.
Dead Head: Out of box failure I'm a printer by trade. I bought this for quick easy soft proofing at home for personal use. I didn't have high expectations, but even those weren't met. Unfortunately, I didn't have any luck with this printer. The cyan didn't print at all and all color cartridges registered as empty or near empty after four color tests... Couldn't even finish initial setup of the machine. Can't tell you about the overall print quality because I couldn't print anything and even if I could have, the cyan was dead... read more
Awful ink management Agree with the other one star ratings - ink management is awful on this printer; cartridges have plenty of ink but routinely at least one is undetectable by the printer and prevents printing. Super frustrating, bypass this one and keep looking.
Brother Printer This printer wont stay connected to the WIFI
I am nothing but frustrated... I love this product, which is why I bought it, BUT you see, mine gave me the UNABLE TO PRINT 50 message and it seems I'll have to return it to be repaired. Since I live outside the US, in the Caribbean, it will cost me a lot of money to send it back and forth...So, I am very frustrated at the moment...Any advice?
Can’t use other ink Wouldn’t let me use any other ink like other Brother printers.
Broke after a few months of light use Junk. I've used it maybe once a month to print of a document. It stopped feeding paper properly. Paper jams every time I try to print anything. Don't waste your money.
Do not believe to poppy cock you get from Brother's sales associates. I bought this printer after a conversation with a Brother sales person in which I SPECIFICALLY and PRECISELY asked if a WRITTEN operating manual accompanied the printer. I was told unambiguously that such a manual did indeed come with the printer. Surprise, surprise. No such manual was with the printer.
