Terrible Terrible printer... Worked great for the first few months now it’s awful. It randomly chooses what it’s prints. Most documents come out half printed. We’ve tried new ink but it seems like an issue with the mechanics inside machine.

Printer not good ink smears i ended throwing it away. too slow printing
Awful! This is the worst printer ever! I bought it to replace my previous brother printer (j475DW) that I loved but it was having problems printing in color- maybe overworked this past spring. This printer never recognized the cartridges and I keep getting an unable to print error when there is paper in the feeder and no jam. I have to fiddle with it just to get it to print. Not worth it Although it was easy to set up, the first time I tried to print two-sided, it jammed and I could not for the life of me clear the jam. I take apart half million dollar pieces of equipment for a living and rebuild them, this is not worth it.

Stopped working 6 months after I got it Stopped working 6 months after I got it and I had to spend more on a replacement because this model wasn’t available to just replace. Disappointed.
Jams a lot! Purchased for business use since it scans! If I could locate the receipt I would definitely return it. It literally jams on every print!

Did not even last a year Very unhappy. Printed fine. When I needed a new cartridge, I bought a Brother cartridge but the printer gave me error messages saying it did not recognize the cartridge. So I opened another brand new Brother cartridge and tried that, and I got the same error message. Brother tech support was no help.
