    Won't Scan without ink Without ink, the Brother MFC won't work at all. I needed to scan a document, but with ink cartridge empty you can't do anything.

    Hate It They wanted $199.99 to get the internet not me. I would not recommend this item to you at all.

    Junk.... just pure junk If I had a dollar for every time this printer/scanner did not work, I could have paid for 200 of these printers. Unbelievable how bad this thing is. If it is not running out of ink every other week, it cannot connect to my computer. Let's just say it printed a document the previous day and I scanned several other documents the same day.... I come back the next day and the ink cartridges have been depleted and the computer no long recognizes the scanner. I get up to go get a cold drink to calm down....... read more

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS@ This printer will send you constant notifications that the toner is low - even though it is not. They even put a chip in each ink cartridge to count the number of prints so that they automatically break the printer until you buy a new ink cartridge - even if you have ink left in the cartrige. It is so obvious that they are holding you hostage to buy more ink - I will absolutely never ever buy another brother product. Absolute deception at it's worst

    Would not recommend It’s so slow. The print quality and color is not good ! If you need something for an occasional letter it’s fine but if you need to print out large quantities of documents with color graphics this is not a good choice. It jams easily and is a pain to use! If a printer can be stressful this is it !

    Scan Unable AF error Don't waste your money on this. I bought this last year and used the scanning twice and already getting a "Scan Unable AF" error. Checked their website for resolution, contacted support, and was directed steps from the website again. Warranty expired as it was over a year. Never again will I be buying a Brother product. They don't go proper QA before releasing these printers.

    Doesn’t support AirPrint and won’t connect to PC I was very excited to use it but the printer did not connect to my computer even though they are in the same WiFi network. It came with a CD for installation which is useless, and finally it doesn’t support AirPrint so I can’t use my phone with it. I’ve had it for not one month and I haven’t been able to use it.     It's OK. Color is poor I honestly would never recommend this to anyone. It's color is poor and even though I really don't use color enough. It would be nice to have a color print.

    Poor Yellow ink did not work out of the box. Had to call brother 4 times to beg them to mail out a new cartridge. Took 3 hours off on on with waiting on hold. Very poor customer service. Finally they agreed to mail the cartridge out. Also was told they do not send full ink cartridges out with the original product. They only send out enough to get you started. Very sad you don’t even get full ink cartridges.
