    Started off great and after 8 Months won't work - Nothing but blank pages What can I say? I had high hopes for this. After 8 months all the printer does is print blank pages no matter what I do . Have tried multiple solutions that brother suggest and ends up no where and just blank pages when attempting to print or copy. Changed inks, did maintenance, everything that one could do short of taking it apart. This is a low use printer and seemed to work just fine with prints here an there each week.     Huge disapointment I replaced my old Epson with this Brother Inkjet Printer #Lc3011. It seemed to be rated high. I bought it October of 2019 and it is costing me a fortune in ink cartridges. I only buy Genuine Brother cartridges and they don't last . I put a full set of new ones in and the following week one shows dry. The fun part is that Amazon Customer Service is no longer answering their phones. Tomorrow I am calling Brother Printer direct. Even when the cartridges do work, the quality is horrible.     Connection Garbage (Warning for AT&T users) I've had to talk to Brother support at least 3 times in a month period (this last time took 2 hours for 0 progress). The printer never connects properly to my computer, or it says the driver is missing. I try to reinstall the driver multiple times. Disconnect and reconnect over and over. One support person said the issue has something to do with my AT&T router. One of my tech friends says that shouldn't be the issue, and I'm not sure I'd trust a product that doesn't work with one o... read more

    Very clunky software installation Machine is fine, prints,scans,etc. but only after multistep software installation. App Store for Mac wouldn't allow software download as Brother insists had to happen. The next day it worked fine but....after that install I had to go back into Brother support in order to get the "tool" for scanning. Way too many steps !! I'm a longtime Mac user and used to things "just working" so this experience was jaw clenching, time consuming and infuriating. Makes me wonder who is writing their software... read more

    Broke after 3 months Worked fine for 3 months then had a Paper Jam error with no jam. Brother customer service is sending me a new one, free of charge. If I get a couple of good years out of the new one, I will post 5 stars, but I am suspect.

    Poor Quality control - cant be set up out of the box Attempted to set up printer with included in cartridges, magenta isnt recognized, so you cant set up anything else, no Copy, no wifi, poor quality control, total waste of time, look for another printer, dont bother with brother.

    Set Up Delayed due to bad ink cartridge- Poor Quality control on cartridges Attempted to set up new Brother MFC-J895DW printer with included ink cartridges, Unfortunately the magenta Isn’t recognized, empty-defective out of the box! So you couldn’t even install the software to use scanner. Just poor quality control on ink cartridge. Had to order a new magenta cartridge at additional cost to get things moving. Note: couldn’t reach Brother customer support Friday night as they’re only open M-F 9-6, so you’re out of luck at nig... read more

    Printer's ink door broke and prevented printer to continue working Had the printer barely a year and used it very few times in a back office. It will not let me bypass the short in the door that will not register that it is closed. Disappointed! Did not get my monies worth.

    Wireless Connectivity & Compatibility Terrible I've had this printer for a couple of years now. When it works, it's great...then MicroSoft comes out with a Windows patch and messes the printer up (driver?)...then, I re-install the printer, then it will print but not scan, then re-install, then it will scan but not print. Frustrating as heck and not worth the effort. I really wish it would work correctly, but I'm fed up with this thing.
