Poor quality Scanner image quality is terrible and the printer constantly disconnects from WiFi or computer. Meaning you have to shut down everything and restart. Do not recommend.
No lifespan Connectivity was easy and fast to set up. The scanner lasted ~7 weeks of VERY light use before it stopped working. Amazon referred me to Brother support where I was never able to get past holding for support. Will have to replace after owning for 6 weeks
Broken after first use of Auto Feed, Support took forever The printer was easy to set up (crazy location for power cord) and the wifi printing worked fine from my computer, iPhone and iPad. Where we went wrong was the first time I tried to make a copy using the Auto Feed. I had two pages to copy and fed them into the auto-feed at the top of the printer. The output generated contained a half-copy with a one inch solid black line at the 3/4 mark of the page, the full length of the page. Talk about an ink drain... This happened... read more
Ink cartridge problem Something is wrong with this printer. Purchased in February & had to purchase black cartridge in May & 3 color cartridges In July (99% of my printing is black & white only). I’ve been traveling & recuperating from pneumonia since March. There is no way possible I’ve printed more than 50 pages (if that), since buying this printer. Prior to this product, I had another Brothers all in one & it lasted me 5 years & I can look over my amazon orders & see I didn’t have to replace ink cartridges very often. Don... read more
It's a garbage printer The printer SHUTS OFF constantly and goes offline constantly. I was better off with the old one that did not feed paper. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRINTER from this company. Absolutely HORRIBLE printer.
A Lot Of Features for the Money Really like the print quality and especially in color on this printer (better than the last two Brother printers I had). I have had other Brother printers and I must say I got my money worth out of them. Last two printers were multi-function and printed over ten thousand copies on each one of them. It did take a bit longer for me to get this printer connected to my desk top computer but still not that difficult to connect.
Document feeder is JUNK!! I received this printer on August 15th, 2019. I like the printing if printing from my computer. With that said the document feeder ate the 11th page of a 15 page deposition. I got it loose and tried feeding the documents one by one by hand, but low and behold the as the scanned document comes out it gets in the way because they come out on TOP of where you feed them in. Garbage product September 8, 2019. Return window closed 8/17/2019. Scanner doesn't work. Will not function in wireless mode. This product (171.00) worth will be placed on the curb for junk. Amazon should be ashamed to have to stoop so low to sell such a junk product.
Good Scanner -Terrible For Scanning Docs larger than Five Pages Had a 30 page document I wanted to scan. Only after all 30 pages were scanned can you review document. No way to correct things mid way. Had to go to kinkos.
