About Mintahoe Catering & Events In 1993, we opened our doors with one catering van and a few grills. Today, Mintahoe Catering & Events is the largest family-owned and family-operated catering company in Minnesota. With four bustling catering divisions and nine signature venues, we understand that every event and every client is unique. Thanks to our talented team and wonderful clients, we proudly cater to more than 5,000 events each year!

Mintahoe took care of us from the beginning! Our evening went of beautifully and people kept saying how wonderful the food was! It was great to focus on our family and friends and let Mintahoe do the food. They also worked with us to get a special menu and options to fit our budget.
Emily and Gabriella were so great to work with both leading up to, and the day of the event. The ceremony area, cocktail hour area, and inside venue was beautiful! Our guests loved the beauty of the river and views of downtown were spectacular! The food was excellent and Emily kept everything running perfectly and on schedule. The food was delicious and the staff were easy to work with. The contract was easy to understand with no surprise fees. The staff the day of the event were professional and friendly. Would highly recommend!
The staff was wonderful to work with even after our event coordinator left Mintahoe, Sydney contacted us immediately to assure us that she will take good care of us and make sure everything runs smoothly, which she did! Chef Joe was awesome to work with as well, accommodating our Hmong foods into his menu! We had so many praises on the menu selections for the wedding reception and how delicious the food was. Overall, everything went great the day of our wedding! There were some hidden fees and we booked our wedding almost 2 years in advance so some of the pricing changed but it was guaranteed 6 months out. The other thing was we went through 3 other wedding coordinators before our final coordinator. Our wedding coordinator for the last 6 months was amazing and I loved her but it was a little frustrating leading up to that. Overall, it was a great day and I am very happy!
Food at our reception was incredible, we received lots of compliments on the apps and the entrees, especially the beef short ribs! Would definitely recommend any Mintahoe venue location!
Leopold's Mississippi Gardens was an amazing venue from the first time we went to visit we fell in love with the site. They have it all even a back up if it rans. They were very accommodating and thought about the little details that we didn't think about. We went through all of the recommended vendors and had no issues. Everything turned out perfect from them helping out with the ceremony to sitting down to the reception and late into the night. I would highly suggest this venue for that fair tale wedding outside!
Mintahoe really did a great job at our wedding. We got a lot of compliments about all of our entrees. Food was a really important component of our wedding, so we were really happy to see the service and the food get such great feedback from our guests. A huge part of that success was Mary Jo. She knows weddings like the back of her hand, and she helped us create a detailed timeline of the wedding day that made everything much smoother.
