Overall, everything went great the day of our wedding! There were some hidden fees and we booked our wedding almost 2 years in advance so some of the pricing changed but it was guaranteed 6 months out. The other thing was we went through 3 other wedding coordinators before our final coordinator. Our wedding coordinator for the last 6 months was amazing and I loved her but it was a little frustrating leading up to that. Overall, it was a great day and I am very happy!
Food at our reception was incredible, we received lots of compliments on the apps and the entrees, especially the beef short ribs! Would definitely recommend any Mintahoe venue location!
Leopold's Mississippi Gardens was an amazing venue from the first time we went to visit we fell in love with the site. They have it all even a back up if it rans. They were very accommodating and thought about the little details that we didn't think about. We went through all of the recommended vendors and had no issues. Everything turned out perfect from them helping out with the ceremony to sitting down to the reception and late into the night. I would highly suggest this venue for that fair tale wedding outside!
Mintahoe really did a great job at our wedding. We got a lot of compliments about all of our entrees. Food was a really important component of our wedding, so we were really happy to see the service and the food get such great feedback from our guests. A huge part of that success was Mary Jo. Mintahoe went above and beyond with their organization and handling of our wedding reception. Mary Jo was great to work with and I felt confident she had our interests at heart throughout the process; for example, she double checked with us when she noticed we could save some money with a different seating arrangement than what we had chosen. We used Mintahoe catering through the Van Dusen Mansion because it was our only option. We worked with Mary Jo who was absolutely AMAZING. It was easy to get in touch with her and she was very responsive. It was fantastic working with her and she gave us great guidance! Tyler was the lead/captain during dinner and was super on top of things. One table somehow didn't have enough chairs and he was on top of it! Other than being a bit expensive, it was fantastic.
Tracy McCarthy was so good to work with! Communication was excellent. All items that needed discussion, clarification, or changes were done with ease. Tracy provided all wedding organizing we needed during the event. The event staff were warm and welcoming to all or guest, including treating the children like little adults. They were thrilled.
We worked with Kailey Moen as our sales consultant and had the best experience. She got all of our needs met, special cocktails incorporated and met all expectations and beyond for the service executed at the reception.
