Today, Mintahoe Catering & Events is the largest family-owned and family-operated catering company in Minnesota. With four bustling catering divisions and nine signature venues, we understand that every event and every client is unique. Mintahoe went above and beyond with their organization and handling of our wedding reception. Mary Jo was great to work with and I felt confident she had our interests at heart throughout the process; for example, she double checked with us when she noticed we could save some money with a different seating arrangement than what we had chosen. We used Mintahoe catering through the Van Dusen Mansion because it was our only option. We worked with Mary Jo who was absolutely AMAZING. It was easy to get in touch with her and she was very responsive. It was fantastic working with her and she gave us great guidance! Tyler was the lead/captain during dinner and was super on top of things. One table somehow didn't have enough chairs and he was on top of it! Other than being a bit expensive, it was fantastic.
Tracy McCarthy was so good to work with! Communication was excellent. All items that needed discussion, clarification, or changes were done with ease. Tracy provided all wedding organizing we needed during the event. The event staff were warm and welcoming to all or guest, including treating the children like little adults. They were thrilled.
We worked with Kailey Moen as our sales consultant and had the best experience. She got all of our needs met, special cocktails incorporated and met all expectations and beyond for the service executed at the reception. We were very happy with our wedding catered by Mintahoe! We worked with Tracy at the Nicollett Island Pavilion and she was wonderful! She truly really went out of her way to ensure our day was perfect! We were very pleased by the service and staff. Tracy and her team were very transparent and easy to communicate with during the entire planning process. We highly recommend Mintahoe!
We had the pleasure of working with Denise from Mintahoe for our NYE wedding. It was fantastic from the beginning. From the chefs sampling (the tasting was so fun!) to the execution of the actual day, Denise was accommodating, friendly and professional... she went above and beyond for us! We had custom “his” and “hers” cocktails, passed apps and a wonderful buffet. Our food and drink was fantastic and we couldn’t have been happier.
Food was not only amazing, but the staff was wonderful! They helped make our night perfect.
On December 12, 2018, I had the pleasure of working with Mintahoe Catering and Events. My sales consultant was Kailey Moen. She and her amazing team (Emily and Johnny) were the best!
