I called the Money Store on a weekend via the online website. Immediately, Charles Petruzzi called me back. He was located in Florida. I am in New Jersey. He helped me in a very organized fashion, answered all of my questions, was helpful and polite each time I contacted him. We used the MS 4 times to refi and once for a mortgage to purchase our current home.They drove us a little crazy sometimes, but I am a loyal customer because, they have consistently offered a much lower rate/apr compared to amerisave, quicken and lending tree (I wouldn't trust any fly by night that I haven't heard of), closing costs come as quoted ever time and they close quickly.I believe one reason for their low cost and quicker closing is their underwriting and title company are tied together somehow and it makes a big im... read more
They only deal with fannie mae guidelines, so they are inflexible as compared to a broker. In my situation I make $260,000 a year, which qualifies me easily. The problem was that I started my own business, and even though I make more than I did when working for a company, I need two years tax returns for the business. we closed our loan with themoneystore with best rate out there we can find. Our loan officer name was charles petruzzi and he was in touch with us thru the whole process. He answered any question we have.I would definitely recommend themoneystore to anyone looking to get a new mortgage
I worked with Kerry Cole and she did an excellent job in closing my refinance loan within 3 weeks unlike other major banks taking 6 to 8 weeks. I strongly recommend Kerry if you have to use the Money Store. She was very knowledgeable with the paperwork, the loan processing, prompt in answering the questions and calling you back withn hours. The entire process was smooth and efficient. I have already recommended Kerry to few of my friends.
