I wish i can give a zero stars because they were horrible too many mistakes to hard to communicate with them and every time a new problem. Please look for a better company before to contact them

First time home buyer, worst experience ever! Communicated mostly with my realtor as the lender did not communicate well with me or my realtor. Kept us waiting for days with no response. You know first time home buying is already stressful enough, try dealing with a lender that creates MORE stress and relies on you to do it all and figure it all out yourself. DO NOT USE MLD MORTGAGE!

I was drawn to The Money Store by their very low rates. I was interested in refinancing an investment property and purchasing of a new home but ultimately only used The Money Store for the refinance. I am very happy I did not move forward with The Money Store on the home purchase because I don't believe they would have processed the loan in time for closing. After locking the rate for more than two months , my loan processor got sick and never returned any calls or emails..and his boss didnt bother to assign my loan to another agent, as a result, i lost time and was on the verge of losing 1500$ in losing cost s...thankfully I used another lender who infact gave me a better rate with better closing costs..these guys at Moneystore were unprofessional and silly in my opinion..i wont recommend to anyone.

I am a real estate investor and had the misfortune of working with The Money Store/ MLD Mortgage. Before I get into details, I've closed on 6 different mortgages within past 9 months and this was and continues to be worst experience of all. The have a fancy front with app but after that, everything is in disarray. I was promised a rate with no closing cost, and somehow they didn't lock my rate and in the end I had to pay additional closing cost that I wasn't expecting as rates moved. Not likely to recommend. The person I was working with took days to answer phone calls, text or emails. When I complained and was reassigned, I thought it would be better. Agreed to call me beginning of June to follow up. Its July 19th, still waiting for a call.

Every employee I dealt with was hard to get ahold of, short, and at times basically rude! Plus they screwed up and my closing date got pushed back... I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

The actual broker I worked with did all he could but the overall experience was EXTREMELY lengthy and bad. I feel the lender never did their homework on my file only unto we got closer to "closing", which by the way, it took 5 months to close and almost went to 6 months. This lender requested me to do things I never thought such as close an AMEX credit card that had a $0.00 balance, Requested me to pay off an IRS debt that they already knew about the moment they pulled my credit and IRS Authorization. I do not have too much experience with mortgage companies. But this one is really not recommended. It takes hours to get connected and weeks for any response. I have sent them an email and called them two weeks ago regarding a mistake in the mortgage, till now I have got no reply yet. While, if you don't response to them immediately, for sure you will be in trouble.
