The building location in a very nice upscale neighborhood. Inside it very open and very clean, a little older than the one in Sachse, but nice and comfortable. Rooms are good size for a resident and bathrooms are huge, you will need to provide bed and furniture. The parking spots are limited. I felt very secure and safe in the area. The only issue are the stairs leading up to houses for residents in wheelchairs. The memory care side was more accessable. Staff was very nice and friendly.

I toured Mustang Creek Estates Allen and it was really good. I like the house environments better than 'facilities,' so this one was really good. Just farther than my loved one's old location.

I've been very pleased with Mustang Creek Estates Allen. I've not tried the food, but my loved one says it's very good, and it always smells good to me when I come to visit. The activities are excellent. They had a wonderful activities director who just left, and I hope they find somebody as good as she was. I think the cost is fair. The staff are very attentive. I am a hair-stylist and I cut a mans hair over 20 years ago and he was the owner of Mustang Creek Estates. He told me about the concept of it all and I really liked the concept. When it became time to look for my mother, I knew that this was one of the first places I wanted to look and it has turned out to be a great fit for her. The thing that sticks out most about the facility is the friendliness of all of the staff. I would definitely recommend the facility.

So far it has been a very easy experience moving my loved one in. The staff are quick to answer any questions or concerns that I may have. My loved one enjoys the food and there are three meals a day served. They recently have a new activities director who has been busy with the residents engaging them in activities.

Let me start by saying my mom was living alone and I couldn’t be there every minute so I worried. Was she physically OK, was she eating well, was she taking her meds? She sounded so Lonely. All of this was on my mind when I was told about MCE in Allen. I love the family feel you get from the layout of the houses. They keep the residents stimulated with activities of all sorts, and if the situation does arise I’m notified and it gets taken care of.
