My grandmother has been a resident since April 2024. I have noticed some staff members yell at residents and treat them unfairly. The kitchen area in house six is always dirty, and my grandmother's toilet always has problems.

Love the venue and daily activities; However, the area of concerns are: (House #6) the oven/stove is nasty and the sink is always dirty! There is no one there after 10pm; and ever during the day it's hard to find an employee in the house. Staff is short.
We had a terrible experience with mustang creek and moved our mom within a few weeks of her moving in. The staff wasn’t engaged, the facility wasn’t taken care of and they over drugged my mom - we think so they didn’t have to “deal” with her - resulting in 1 trip to the ER when we could not wake her.
Its adequate. Hard to keep staff. Some staff exceptional no others Need more training exceptional.

I would say it's "ok" if your loved one doesn't need much care at all, otherwise they are not the facility I would choose. The director will "assess" which house of care your family member belongs in but she put my mom with Alzheimer's in type A housing with all assisted living residents. There is way too much employee turnover, they lost my mom's medication, didn't inform me she fell and hit her head until I walked in and saw her black eye. I would say it's a decent place. Small community. Affordable as well. Staff could be friendlier.

The staff at Mustang Creek are friendly and accommodating. When I couldn’t M-F for a tour, someone met me on Saturday. Maintenance is on top of everything. I should have asked more questions about what staff can do and not expected to do for the resident.

Chose based on the concept and price. I can do all of the things they are doing. Needed some help with occasional assistance. Mom pushed her call button 3 different times and no one came. Not acceptable. That's it in a nutshell. PS: resident must love rice, served often.

Activities - Mom not interested in participating. All the rest dependent on who is working that day. Rate All care including cooking/serving is done by one aid for the 10 residents in the house. Some aids are very competent, friendly & able to multi task while some are not able to keep up the pace! I've talked to the manager about this. An expense that surprised me.
