There are only a couple of employees that have any compassion for the residents and their jobs. It is sad to watch my Mom on camera beg for water and she no longer has her call button. They take it off constantly because they don’t want to deal with her. They constantly lose her laundry and the evening staff will not give her a shower. We wish we would have never come to this place.
Small campus footprint and intimate house setting with a covered porch has been ideal for our mom. Mustang's AL houses are best for loved ones who require minimal oversight and non-certified staff. They could improve on the food by having less repetitive meals and more variety of main courses and vegetables.

I give them a 1 on everything! All of my mom's clothes, shoes, hangers, family photos are missing. They was all the residents clothes together then randomly put clothes in peoples rooms. Someone else was sleeping in my mother's bed when I came to visit. Her mattress was saturated in urine. Comforter and recliner covered in feces. Her medication was not given to her. I liked the home type atmosphere, it's very close to my house and it was a good price. They have struggled a bit with their staff, but have finally found some good people. The food was not that great at the beginning but has seemed to be on an upswing recently along with the new staff. My mom is happy there.

My grandmother has been a resident since April 2024. I have noticed some staff members yell at residents and treat them unfairly. The kitchen area in house six is always dirty, and my grandmother's toilet always has problems.

Love the venue and daily activities; However, the area of concerns are: (House #6) the oven/stove is nasty and the sink is always dirty! There is no one there after 10pm; and ever during the day it's hard to find an employee in the house. Staff is short.
We had a terrible experience with mustang creek and moved our mom within a few weeks of her moving in. The staff wasn’t engaged, the facility wasn’t taken care of and they over drugged my mom - we think so they didn’t have to “deal” with her - resulting in 1 trip to the ER when we could not wake her.
Its adequate. Hard to keep staff. Some staff exceptional no others Need more training exceptional.

I would say it's "ok" if your loved one doesn't need much care at all, otherwise they are not the facility I would choose. The director will "assess" which house of care your family member belongs in but she put my mom with Alzheimer's in type A housing with all assisted living residents. There is way too much employee turnover, they lost my mom's medication, didn't inform me she fell and hit her head until I walked in and saw her black eye.
