Families have to stay on top of staff to make sure they do what you expect them to do. Timing and delivery of meds not always on target. Most of the staff were caring, but we did witness the opposite more than once.

My husband did not participate since he got hurt on the first week I moved him. I think they need more help for the house my husband was in. Particularly on weekends. They are not able to provide sufficient care to their residence. Some of their employees do not know how to care for the residence or afraid to take care of them. I tried to help a lot to take care of my husband since I was there all the time. I made sure he is taken care of. I have real issue on how they manage the medications. Most of the staff do a good job, especially the weekday staff. The weekend staff seems to fluctuate and is not always as good. The director is very responsive. Food- they frequently do not have the food supplies to make the meals listed on their menu. And the staff making the meals, depending on the person, don't want to take the time needed to make a good healthy meal. The food is terrible and the kitchen is always dirty. Staff needs to be cleaning in idle time. Seems that most of the time there is no staff present in the home unless it's meal time. However, the staff is courteous and helpful when needed. Activities are good and residents seem to like this.

Very nice place, staff is great a little pricey for anyone who is confined to a bed and unable to participate in activities and the staff is very short handed on the weekends especially Sunday. Overall the staff has been very thoughtful and helpful. I would recommend this place

There are only a couple of employees that have any compassion for the residents and their jobs. It is sad to watch my Mom on camera beg for water and she no longer has her call button. They take it off constantly because they don’t want to deal with her. They constantly lose her laundry and the evening staff will not give her a shower. We wish we would have never come to this place.

Small campus footprint and intimate house setting with a covered porch has been ideal for our mom. Mustang's AL houses are best for loved ones who require minimal oversight and non-certified staff. They could improve on the food by having less repetitive meals and more variety of main courses and vegetables.

I give them a 1 on everything! All of my mom's clothes, shoes, hangers, family photos are missing. They was all the residents clothes together then randomly put clothes in peoples rooms. Someone else was sleeping in my mother's bed when I came to visit. Her mattress was saturated in urine. Comforter and recliner covered in feces. Her medication was not given to her. The washing machine broke several times and they went almost 2 weeks with clothes and sheets not being washed. They should have had the clothes sent out to be cl... read more

I liked the home type atmosphere, it's very close to my house and it was a good price. They have struggled a bit with their staff, but have finally found some good people. The food was not that great at the beginning but has seemed to be on an upswing recently along with the new staff. My mom is happy there.
