The staff at Mustang Creek Estates Allen is good, but needs to communicate better when residents first move in. For example: there needs to be a meeting to go over the individual's requirements, not just what the director has noted from speaking to the family. I would highly suggest the family document in detail and provide a copy to each employee. The housekeeping is good, but could improve with deep cleaning. The move in process is bad!! We just moved our mom to Mustang Creek. They are so understaffed maybe 1 person in a house at a time or 1 person in 2 houses. They work double shifts and do not get paid enough. People are always late or never show up at all. They are supposed to do laundry once a week and you have to stay on top of them to make sure it's done. Bathrooms are supposed to be cleaned daily my mom's toilet had feces on it for 3 days until I cleaned it myself. They make it sound like the best place ever SALE SALE SALE you! The facilities are nice, but there is a complete lack of effective management. Each building is generally staffed by one person, and sometimes two. They must do all of the laundry, resident care, and the daily cleaning. My mother was there for several months and after daily calls from the staff asking me to come help them, I moved her to [facility name removed] Memory Care. The day staff was great. The night staff can certainly improve on their professionalism. We picked this community, because it was the closest proximity to my house and affordable compared to others.

We've had a pretty good experience with this facility so far. Most of the staff is great, but there are some that maybe aren't so great. That seems to happen more on the weekends when they're using fill ins versus the regular staff. But I know part of that is because it's not routine for them and certain things can be challenging. Mustang Creek Estates has been great. Very happy with their services. It is an all inclusive price which was a huge bonus over others that we looked at. This is a great facility. Definitely the right place for Dad.

My dad and I toured this community for our mom and it was nice. Ultimately, we couldn't get dad to pull the trigger on it, even though we'd paid several months rent. No fault of the facility at all. It seemed like a great place and good value for the money.

They are extremely understaffed. It was expensive, for what was paid for 3 months, and my loved one was there less than a month. All places have problems but I would not recommend this place . They do not hae the help that they need. There was missing laundry, and bedding from my loved ones room. They were not deep cleaning like they said they would.
