I have been looking for a good place for my dad and when I found one, it was way out of his price range. They charged for room, then his care. (like $2000 more). This place here is all included and more. The staff is excellent, it’s a small setting and divided into separate buildings so that there are only like 14 residents per house. They all have an open kitchen where they see there food being cooked. Food is from HEB and local farmers not shipped in by truck. They eat their meals together at a large table like a family. It's pretty clean. The actual working staff is very friendly. The food is pretty good. We picked this community, because it was newer, looked like it had somehting to offer, and it was smaller, in which they were able to provide individual attention. They can improve on, consitency with the staff and pay them more to keep them. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend to other families.

The community itself is clean but the house keeping could definitely be improved. Some of the staff members are nice and others are not so much. It seems like the staff members don't really pay as much attention to the residents as they should.

My loved one is so happy here. The daytime care is absolutely fantastic. The staff are very caring, and they treat the residents as if they were their own grandparents. Some of the patients need to be fed, and they sit down at the table with them to help them eat. The food is great. If somebody isn't feeling well, they'll fix them some mashed potatoes or pasta, something light that settles the stomach, and you just can't beat that. They need to do better with, cleaning the bathroom toilet, which was not cleaned for four days, and the odor was very bad. Retain your employees everytime ,I go visit it's someone new/different staff. I'm going to give them, one last chance to correct any issues.

Toured and fell in love with the layout of this community. It will be so much easier for my mom to transition to Mustang Creek rather that the "big box" style communities. When I found out the care ratio is 7 to 1... I was floored! Their rates are all-inclusive, and include ALL levels of care. We were so stressed out over this move, but they took that weight off of our shoulders. We couldn't be happier.

It's pretty clean. My loved one does not really like the food. For the price, the value for the money is good. We picked this community because, my loved one had different restrictions, and they met their financial needs, and also different restrictions. It's not fancy but the people are nice.

Overall experience - good. Cost was good for my dad's budget. Place we left had gotten over the $5000 mark. One thing that I had to do a lot at night was to call and ask the evening/night staff to do certain things that needed to be done. I had a camera in his room and would see that the staff had not pulled him up in the bed or lay the bed down so he could sleep comfortably.
