Misleading "Free" Night -- Beautiful Facility, But Watch for Hidden We brought our little Maltepoo to My Second Home because the rep on the phone explicitly told us a one-night stay would be free. What we found when we dropped her off was very different. The facility itself is modern, clean, and you can tell the staff care about pets -- that part was obvious and appreciated. We have used My Second Home several times for our three large dogs when we've gone out of town. We've also used their grooming services. Our dogs are always happy and healthy when we pick them up. I've been very happy and satisfied with their services.
I highly recommend My Second Home! Their staff is dedicated and knowledgeable about animals. I feel very safe sending my two doodles to day camp there. I also love they have camera where I can peak in on them and watch the fun they're having! Our dogs always come home exhausted! We've also used their boarding services. My dogs are well cared for and enjoy going. We've never had issues with day camp or boarding and we've been going to my second home for about a year. We have a gift card to this location, and the staff have been pretty great letting us know about the different amenities here. I can't really speak to boarding, as this location is a bit far for us. However, we hired one of their animal behaviorist/trainers to help refresh our 4-year-old dog on her various commands. There was some communication issues that led to a delay in scheduling for our first meeting, but our trainer dealt with it graciously and met us at the Franklin location.
