You just have to put your trust in people. I’m almost half way down to being debt free and I don’t have to lift a finger or talk to the scary debt collectors!

Huge rip off. I missed several payments because of Covid but they kept taking out their fees so my account eventually got to 0. They refuse to do anything, even talk to your debtors unless there is money in the account and they take your fees first. In Aug of 2020 I sent them $522. My normal payment was $422 but I was trying to catch upon the payments I missed. It sat there for two weeks, they took out over $100 in "fees" but paid nothing to my creditors out of the $522. I called to ask why and they told me all my agreements... read more

So, I wanted this to work for me. It did in the beginning, I was happy I didn’t have to deal with this and could put my debt somewhat in the back of my mind. I started back in 2017. I even wrote an email to some of their senior leadership, I do not think they even looked at it. Only 2 came back as undeliverable. There was this one debt that was always nagging me and sending me letters. I put in a new air conditioner in my home and took out a loan. Now this debt I did not understand at the time was a little different than you... read more

this is a huge rip off, they promise to settle your debt below 50% and they charge you 23% of your original debt for their fees. this wouldn't be bad as you would still save some money but they never settle at 50% or less. they settled my debt at 79% and i had to pay their 23% fee, i ended up paying 102% on the debt i owed. i had settled a debt before with the original loaner and i had settled for 75% of what i owed with out any help from NDR. so please if you are using this company be very careful. look at all your options ... read more

National debt relief makes it seem like they are there for you. That's not the case. Beware this is just a for profit money hungry business that's just as bad or worse than the collectors. They say oh we will only take our part after settlement. Yeah directly after settlement so all the money you have saved will FIRST be paid to national debt relief and you're creditors will be paid as little as $15 a month. DO NOT USE NDR. Settle you're debts yourself. It is easy enough you do not need this for profit company to do it for y... read more

Since 2015 I put myself into major credit card debt due to careless spending on my credit cards. By early 2016, I realized that I was in trouble with credit card debt to the point where I was unable to sleep. I originally stuck to making the minimum monthly payments to my three creditors (******** ****, ******** and ******** *******) since I did not make enough money at my job during that time period to pay more on my minimum monthly payments. I first looked into debt mediation with NDR and two other similar companies in Apr... read more
