Very misleading company. Just want your monthly payments but won't cover any costs. This is regarding pet insurance.
I have received 20 calls from Allied Insurance today, 8 of which were withing the same minute. This has been reported to **** Call Protect. This is ridiculous started at 11:01 this morning and so far has gone til 4:01 pm
4 roofing professionals including adjusting service sent out by Nationwide indicated significant hail damage on roof, gutters, downspouts, deck, garage door. Nationwide sent out engineer who wouldn't examine total roof due to slope and said normal wear and tear. Nationwide chose to use his report, disregarding the others. I purchased homeowners insurance from Nationwide in September 2021, October 27, 2012, I received a Notice of Cancellation. This letter stated that I needed to make repairs to the property by December 5, 2021. These repairs where 1. Foundation was cracked, 2. patio needs repaired, 3. cracked basement window and 4. outbuilding roof is severely weathered. I called to see exactly what this meant. The incompetence of their adjusters, total loss department, and company as a whole--amazes me. I totaled my car two weeks ago, the guy in charge of my case left me a voicemail at 3 pm on 11/19/21 (The day that he is begins his 10 days out of office) and I called back 10 minutes later--no answer. I called again, no answer so I left a voicemail. I emailed him and got an automatic response stating that he is out of office from 11/19/21-11/29/21. Rip off dont use them they charge you $300 plus dollars to add family members and they never explain this until u see your next **** they charged me for a whole year for a vehicle I asked them to remove I cant wait to get a new insurance company I was charged 500 last month and this month they are thieves and they will rob you blind they gave me a 900 dollar credit for the year **** from the truck and they took it all this happened in September I hope these nationwide insurance company get investigated they still your money ... read more

Nationwide illegally changed the coverages on my pet insurance policy AFTER it was effective. They added exclusions that were not part of the original policy I paid for. Because of this change they were able to deny all of my claims calling them "excluded conditions". This is the most shady company I have ever dealt with and I immediately cancelled my policy with them because they are clearly scam artists. My declarations page showed "NO EXCLUSIONS" for my policy. In late summer we had a terrible storm. It tore up most of our siding and did quite a bit of damage. My husband filed a claim and Nationwide sent someone out to conduct an estimate. After barely looking at the house and taking 0 pictures of the damage, my husband didnt agree with the estimate and questioned the sincerity of the damages.
