Before you purchase RV (Recreational Vehicle) Insurance from Nationwide be aware they don't have field agents for their RV policies. They review all claims via a desk agent who has no (or minimal) training or knowledge in campers. Nationwide Pet Insurance is the absolute worst health insurance for pets. Unfortunately I chose this insurance when my chihuahua was a puppy and ended up stuck with it for her lifetime as a result. When she was a puppy they refused to pay for disc disease surgery because they claimed it was a pre-existing condition. They said she had an eating disorder that cause her disc disease which was ludicrous. I've been with nationwide for 9 years. Zero accidents and zero claims. My vehicle was broken into and the destroyed the soft top to my jeep. Nationwide decides to replace my top with parts from a junkyard. Seriously. A salvage yard. The customer service is breathtaking its so bad. Not one person I talked to was polite, professional and you can forget about any bedside manor.Avoid at all cost.

I've had Nationwide for over a year or so and recently I moved to a different county and was totally unaware that it was going to raise my insurance premium by quite a bit. Since getting ********************** as our pet ********************** 3 years ago, it has been extremely hit and miss with getting our claims approved. I have a high maintenance French bulldog, two actually, and sadly it seems like a 50/50 chance every time I turn a claim in. I got in an accident with someone insured by **********************. I was sitting at a red light when this person hit me and caused $12k worth of damage to my car. They denied my claim even though it was clearly the other drivers fault. Even according to the police report. Do not ever do business with them. It took days of calling to get someone to call me back. They are rude and no help. Terrible business.
I found ********************** pet insurance through my employer's website, assumed it's a big, accredited company. However, I just realized this is a shady place because numerous problems also occurred to other pet parents. I wish I knew this earlier and choose a reputable, credible company.
