Nationwide Insurance received notification of a claim being filed on July 11, 2021 for hail damage at *******************************. A contact was received on 7/13/2021 with an estimate being completed on 9/27/2021. The concern with this claim is the damage caused by Ladder Now, and we are needing to get the repairs completed at our home. Well I don't even know how to start but basically all I'm going to say you guys are the worst company when it comes to insurance. I had you guys for several years and always on autopay never had an issue. If I can give a negative rating I would. My mom had homeowners insurance and passed away. The house is in trust and I am now the legal owner. Called the broker gave the trust papers and paid two months of insurance. Set up paperless and auto-debit from my bank account. I noticed 12 days after the September payment was due my bank did not auto-debit. I called Nationwide and was told the bank rejected the payment - I made an error typing in the account number. We have two nationwide pet insurance plans for our dogs. A month into our plan my wife noticed a bump on one of our dogs mouth, the plan was active and we took her to the vet - 1 week later we find out it is melanoma. We go ahead and get it removed, knowing that this is on the pamphlet of covered we submit the claim and all paper work to nationwide. The customer service is terrible the fact you all allowed this tow company to drop my car then these representatives telling me they are pass that is very insensitive. I have a finished basement apartment. On 9/1/2021 sewer in that apartment started backing up. I have pictures and multiple videos showing water gushing out the toilet, sink and bathtub (I'll share them with anyone who is interested, especially media and regulators). Signed up for homeowners insurance through progressive and ended up with these clowns. They sent an inspector to the house, he was very nice, who pointed out a few things that needed to be addressed. The previous homeowner's were in the middle of a bathroom remodel when we bought the house. I addressed every item other than the bathroom as we are having a professional complete the project.
