They do not care to go above and beyond for their customers but still expect to get paid. Theyll deny your claim and shut you out like youre a criminal.

Id give 0 stars if I could. Short of the long.. I canceled a renter policy and was due a refund. A month later my check still has not arrived. Come to find out the sent it to the wrong address. How? When I canceled the policy I said what address to send the refund to. My policy was issued for the address the check was suppose to go to. The billing was listed with the address the check was to go to. Yet somehow it went to my old address. Now they need to cancel that check, request, process and issue a new one. Nationwide Pet Insurance is a complete rip-off. They give criminals a bad name. They play the typical delay games of insurance companies everywhere, and then they pay pennies on the dollar if they pay at all. And their payment method is also shady. You are given a short window of time (10 days) to jump through more online hoops just to collect the pennies that they want to throw at you. You have to waste time creating new online accounts, and create profiles, and then add policy information, all to collect the measly amounts... read more

Before you purchase RV (Recreational Vehicle) Insurance from Nationwide be aware they don't have field agents for their RV policies. They review all claims via a desk agent who has no (or minimal) training or knowledge in campers. The desk agent assigned to my claim only had knowledge of "her parent's camper" and repeatedly refused to listen to *************'s certified technician's explanation of failure mode and root cause analysis as the mechanical design was different from "her parent's camper".Nationwide deployed multip... read more

Nationwide Pet Insurance is the absolute worst health insurance for pets. Unfortunately I chose this insurance when my chihuahua was a puppy and ended up stuck with it for her lifetime as a result. When she was a puppy they refused to pay for disc disease surgery because they claimed it was a pre-existing condition. They said she had an eating disorder that cause her disc disease which was ludicrous. I've been with nationwide for 9 years. Zero accidents and zero claims. My vehicle was broken into and the destroyed the soft top to my jeep. Nationwide decides to replace my top with parts from a junkyard. Seriously. A salvage yard. The customer service is breathtaking its so bad. Not one person I talked to was polite, professional and you can forget about any bedside manor.Avoid at all cost.

After many years of consolidating our home, second home, rental property, car and umbrella insurance with Nationwide and punctually paying our premiums, they sent us a notice in April canceling our home insurance and giving us a meager three months to find a replacement. My home burnt down last september, it is now almost a year later and it's just now getting rebuilt, the apartment that was arranged for me I was assaulted so ***************** and his supervisor told me even though my house is in no way of being complete and I have 2 move in 2 weeks they cant help me with a place to stay, bc the property management sees it as I am getting evicted which I'm not even the landlord had said I was the one assaulted but both sides have 2 leave he basically told me I'm on my own and gave me a budge... read more

I've had Nationwide for over a year or so and recently I moved to a different county and was totally unaware that it was going to raise my insurance premium by quite a bit. I had only been here one month in my new place and I went online to pay my new **** and it showed the previous month amount and my next month amount increase of which I never was notified.
