I have been stranded on the side of the road twice and both times the tow company that nationwide contracts with took 3 hours to arrive. If you value your life, please don't allow nationwide auto insurance to talk you into adding the tow service. Use another ************ The service is HORRIBLE!!!!

I don't have enough space here to write it all, but all I'll say is scammers. Got into a car accident with one of their clients recently. Not only did they take forever to respond, but they are refusing to fix my car. When I say fine I just want my car, I'll take it to my mechanic myself, they're refusing to give me information about how to get my car and demanding I sign the title over to them. Two things are wrong with the car that could easily be fixed as my mechanic said the repairs might cost $200 to $300 tops. They're ... read more

I think that I was done completely wrong by the company, and the service that I should be provided with being that I pay my **** every month. I was locked out of my car while it was running and I called my insurance for road side assistance. I was informed that they were sending a technician to me in 60min. I let 70min go by and I called back for them to inform me that my technician was 5 min away. 7 min passed and I called back and they informed me that someone should have already made it to me and tried to contact the tech... read more

If you want to protect your investment , like your house or automobile. Please do not use this company. Their customer service is horrible. Took them 4 months, dozens of emails and phone calls to handle my claim, which they eventually denied. They will take your money no problem but will never pay out with their generalized lawyer heavy worded policies .

it is a long story and this insurance company is the middle man through Air B&B and a homeowner called ****** Vacation Rentals. I booked a *** rental in ***** ** ion 4/15/2021 for my birthday in 8/2021. While booking the home, a prompt came up that states "I strongly urge you to purchase travel insurance'. Nationwide Insurance received notification of a claim being filed on July 11, 2021 for hail damage at *******************************. A contact was received on 7/13/2021 with an estimate being completed on 9/27/2021. The concern with this claim is the damage caused by Ladder Now, and we are needing to get the repairs completed at our home. After reviewing the letter dated 10/14/2021 it mentioned there was no coverage for this loss, but there was a payment to REPAIR my roof. Well I don't even know how to start but basically all I'm going to say you guys are the worst company when it comes to insurance. I had you guys for several years and always on autopay never had an issue. Yesterday we got robbed at gunpoint and file a claim then get a rude rep that call me and literally just told me they've cancel my policy for non payment so I told him what he was talking about since I'm on autopay, he then told me there was nothing he could do and that I needed to call the agency who wrote my policy, after... read more

If I can give a negative rating I would. My mom had homeowners insurance and passed away. The house is in trust and I am now the legal owner. Called the broker gave the trust papers and paid two months of insurance. Set up paperless and auto-debit from my bank account. I noticed 12 days after the September payment was due my bank did not auto-debit. I called Nationwide and was told the bank rejected the payment - I made an error typing in the account number. We have two nationwide pet insurance plans for our dogs. A month into our plan my wife noticed a bump on one of our dogs mouth, the plan was active and we took her to the vet - 1 week later we find out it is melanoma. We go ahead and get it removed, knowing that this is on the pamphlet of covered we submit the claim and all paper work to nationwide.
