Been going to Northside for a couple years now and experience is hit or miss - truly think it's all about which vet you get. The staff is always lovely and they show a lot of love for my dog. Dr. Klein is amazing. She's so caring and has taken great care of my dog when she was going through some additional tests due to blood tests coming back with concerning results. I've been bringing my cat to this clinic for many years and the staff always shows a great deal of care and empathy toward us. She has a kidney condition that needs consistent monitoring and I have to keep a close eye on her diet. With that in mind, Dr. Leiman has given me some great advice that has improved her quality of life and made the transition to her senior years smoothly. I highly recommend!
My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Northside for over 9 years, in that time we've had our dogs go from young adulthood to senior, and both Dr. Leiman and Dr. Eisner have been there every step of the way. I have been taking my dachshund to Northside for the last couple of years and have been relatively pleased. Dr. Leiman has given us advice that vastly improved his diet, and I think, overall health and Dr. Colleran was immensely helpful when I recently brought him in and he was very sick. Everyone was so great--and they had no heat that day and it was below freezing out--especially Ginger and Dr. Colleran. We ended up taking him to the emergency room, but Northside helped with that as well. I really appreciate it.
Taken my puppy to this clinic on mulitiple occasions with positive results. Line staff and vets were very nice and accomidating towards my dog. Service was great, fast and quick.
Drs. Leiman and Eisner were amazing. I put them in the very difficult position of euthanizing my beloved kitty having no prior client relationship or medical history and coming to my home to do it. My 12 year old kitty, Monster, was misdiagnosed with diabetes by my local vet. They said no need for x-rays--it's definitely diabetes. When we discovered months later it was cancer, the larger specialized vet we were referred to charged $4000 for an MRI and biopsy only to biopsy tissue next to the tumor. all the time wasted just ... read more
I am surprised at the bad reviews here. I was a little scared to come in after reading the feedback, but went at the recommendation of some friends. I saw Sylvia Nagy after specifically asking for her when making an appointment. The staff was very friendly and kind and they were able to get me in quickly. There seems to be a lot of hours the clinic is open which is nice with a 9 to 5 schedule. They even have weekend appointments. A wellness exam was 60 bucks and I think an urgent visit is 80. Dr. Sylvia Nagy is a gem. She is young and knowledgeable. She was able to help us identify a problem with our dog in 1 visit, that Williamsburg Animal Clinic overlooked in about 15 visits. She has a very comfortable and gentle approach to the animals. It seems like she really cares and tries. Dr. Nagy took her time with our beloved doggie and tried her best to help him. This vet clinic is MUCH more affordable than WAC as well.
My dog has been seeing Dr. Leiman for 5 years. He spends time discussing options and his staff is always very nice. Even after moving out of the area and trying another Vet, we went back to Dr. Leiman because of the friendly service and better prices.
