The technicians and the doctors have been incredibly kind, patient, and wonderful to our dog, Maggie. Whenever there is any kind of issue, they are completely thorough. The vets have been gentle and considerate. We adopted Maggie when she was 7.5 weeks old, and have been going to Northside for all shots and check up visits (we've been there 5-6 times now). Our pup has no fear of the vet, and we owe a lot of that to the great service we've gotten at Northside.

Dr. Eisner and Dr. Leiman both have treated my dog, my sister's 2 dogs and a neighbor's dog with utmost attention, professionalism and success..... when other notable practices had not. My experience: My little Brussels Griffon ruptured a disc and was left crippled, barely able to walk and pee on her own. She has had 5 months of slow recuperation with ups and downs , a lot of medication and stress. Subsequently, i have turned my attention to NVC, specifically to Dr. Eisner FROM my long standing vet in NYC. She put her o... read more

I highly recommend Northside Veterinary Clinic in general and Dr. Leiman in particular. After struggling with another vet for a year with a few health issues our 8 year old dog was experiencing, we made the switch to Northside and were very impressed. Dr. Leiman took the time to talk through the issue and all the potential paths of investigation we could pursue. He was able to eloquently describe the pros and cons of each and helped us to establish an action plan that has helped to resolve our dogs issues. The staff is frien... read more

Very kind staff. They help me with Tora and made a last minute appointment. They were really kind with out cat. I forgot something when I left and the kind person who was a the desk that day (green hair) came running after me for about to blocks to return the item to me.

I love the staff and find them to be patient, thorough, kind, and very quick on email, which is much appreciated. I do think they like to do lots of testing--and yes it can add up--but it's because they truly care. They're not trying to shake anyone down for money. My dog came in and had a routine Lyme test and then they asked if I wanted to have a second test done to see the level of Lyme (which would cost more money). I said yes, and glad I did! My dog's levels were extremely high so they were able to better assess his tre... read more

Dr. Raud is simply the best: he is caring and patient and highly professional. I havent' seen Dr. Leiman in a long time but the other doctors which are pushed on you are dangerous. The vet techs can be nice but make mistakes for which they never apologize which leave me wondering the efficiency of my pet care.

We've been going to this vet for almost 7 years. Some visits are great, others - not so much. PROS: - Dr. Raud is the only reason I haven't changed our vet after being super frustrated with the level of service here over the past almost decade. In my opinion, he has saved this place. Attentive (seriously doesn't rush), loves animals, is great with people, smart, normal, logical and doesn't try to up sell you (which is not the norm for this practice). - Half of the techs here are great. The other half give terrible advice th... read more

I've been going to dr. eisner and leiman for probably 15 years now and have always been very happy with the expert care and kindness they show my animals. yes, the waiting room can be a bit cramped, but is a spacious waiting room really what you want to spend your hard-earned dough on when it comes to taking care of your critters? i love that dr. eisner is frank and straightforward and has strong opinions about how animals should be fed and cared for. yes, if you are feeding your cat crappy dry food, she won't hesitate to le... read more

I am new to the area. I brought Gus for a check up and updated shots. Dr. Nagy is extremely attentive and genuinely cares for her patients. The assistant vet techs are great as well. I was very pleased. Which is why I am writing a yelp review.... Gus was attacked by a pit bull at the park. Luckily he is a muscular little guy and escaped with the help of a few awesome bystanders. I took Gus to Northside Vet immediately and they were excellent. Dr. Nagy and staff carefully assessed Gus and treated his wounds. I was distraught... read more
