While some of the vet visits are great, some are not. And when you factor in the customer service, people (including myself) end up going elsewhere.

Dr. Eisner should not be allowed to see patients. She is rude, overcharges and tricks patients into unnecessarily spending and yells at staff. She also barely explains things when asked and has horrible bedside manner. She is impatient and has an attitude problem.
Business response:
Dear Rebecca- Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry for your dissatisfaction with our hospital. We genuinely believe we provided you and Irving with compassionate patient care. We wanted to reach out to you directly; however, we're unable to connect with you. We would very much like to clear up any misunderstanding about your pet's care, as the appointment seemed to end on good terms. If you would like to discuss anything further, please email Dr. Eisner back or give us a call. Otherwise, we wish you and I... read more
I've been a patient here for many years and recently decided to leave. There's lots of neighborhood options now. 1. They always make you wait a long time. Appointments are basically meaningless. 2. Most of the vets are good except for Barbara Eisner. She's combative and gave poor treatment advice. At one point she just randomly yelled "BITE RISK" and "WE NEED A MUZZLE" and muzzled my dog. It was a huge overreaction to his scared behavior (he's never been close to biting anyone or dog).
Two stars purely due to having solid doctors who appear to know what they're talking about, (better I think than the ones at Williamsburg Veternary clinic) but it stops there. Doctor quality has always been a top priority for me so I thought I could put up with the incompetence of the associated office staff and the associated frustrations this results in, but I was wrong. From ignored calls from my pharmacies and ignored communications from my insurance company, to having to call multiple times to get someone to properly ... read more

Hello, Jacqueline C.- Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are so sorry to hear about your disappointment with our service. The essence of our values and who we are all start with patient-centric compassionate care and best-in-class service. We would very much appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can investigate your feedback further. If you're open to talking, please let us know by reaching out to us at feedback@veterinarycaresandconcerns.com
Horrible experience at this Veterinarian After going here for many years , I was horrified how they treated my dog. Rude beyond comprehension, the worst bedside manor possible and overall poor quality care. Dr. Leiman should understand he is dealing with a sick animal and a concerned human / pet parent. I would never step foot in that place again, under any circumstances and feel v sorry for anyone that has to endure what me and my beloved dog went through. They lost their primary concern for helping animals and run this ... read more

Hello TB - I wanted to reach out to you directly, however I have been unable to locate you in our system based on your YELP user name. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to speak with you so I can understand why you feel I let you and your dog down. If you are open to talking, would you please email me at leimandvm@nvcbrooklyn.com or you can reach out to feedback@veterinarycaresandconcerns.com. Hope to hear from you soon. -Dr. Leiman
Dr Lehman has 0 bedside manor when delivering bad news. They also kept my dog with a heart condition for 5 hours in a kennel and then told us she was visible upset and shaking the whole time. Despite having an appointment for a heart test. How can you treat an animal like that with a heart condition? They will also fill your prescription for 2x the cost of what it is on chewy. Save yourself some grief and go anywhere else but here. They will no longer get our business.
Do NOT go here. All the negative reviews are true. I have been to this clinic many many times over the years (my dog is senior) and they constantly misdiagnose, overcharge, have terrible communication, make you wait outside for 45 minutes (they are ALWAYS late) and don't even allow you in the room with your dog - you have to wait OUTSIDE. They blame it on Covid but come on, at this point every vet, doctor and clinic have figured out how to manage around Covid restrictions. The front desk ignores you if you go to the door. Two stars because I feel their care was almost adequate. However, once your credit card is charged you can forget about any post visit support from this place. They also flat out refuse to approve any medication requests from other pet pharmacies, holding you hostage to buy medications from them directly at inflated prices. They eventually approved my dogs medications but it took several emails and phone calls for me to make that happen. I sent a very polite email asking for them to approve my dogs meds, and the email I rece... read more
Business response:
Dear Todd, I'm sorry you had that experience, we do try and advocate for your pet, with online pharmacy's, they do not guarantee the product, and should your pet have a problem, it's your veterinarian you contact, not a big warehouse. Our online pharmacy does try to be competitive in the market. Certainly communication could have been better, and we are working on improving it. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
Super disappointed with the care and customer service here. My 4 year old golden retriever has been a patient for over a year now and has been misdiagnosed, I've received terrible communication from the Doctor and staff, and the receptionist is incredibly rude. You aren't assigned to one vet in particular, you have to rotate through the group based on availability, so there is no relationship or opportunity for the doctor to get to know your pet. I with Dr. Ramos (who was lovely in person) a few times trying to ask a fo... read more
Business response:
Dear Erica, I'm sorry you had that experience, it's not who we strive to be, and we are working on improving our communication. Dr. Ramos is a dedicated veterinarian, who cares about her patients. We should've taken the time to understand your pet's needs. We are trying to improve customer service skills, and appreciate you taking the time to inform us and relate your experience. Client's can always request the doctor they'd like to see, we do our best to accommodate them. Communication is key, and we are aware it needs impr... read more
