Have been going to Northside for 14 years with my cats. All of whom were street cats in Greenpoint that I ultimately brought inside & kept or found homes for. Dr Leiman & Dr Eisner even took one of these poor kitties home with them to nurse for 2 weeks so that she would be strong enough for life saving surgery. It's been years & she is with me & doing great! I am so grateful.She was left bleeding at a feeding station I had for strays. They get an extra star from me for being open 7 days a week. I've been taking my dog here since i moved to williamsburg and they have always been friendly and patient and kind with me and my dog. Twice they "squeezed me in" between patients when i did not have an appointment. Only once they did not have an antibiotic for injection which required me to drive to another animal hospital to get the injection. Dr. Eisner has been treating my cat with acupuncture for his arthritis for a few months now, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The first month involved 1 session per week, which does make it kind of pricey up front. However, I checked around the city and they are the best value for pet acupuncture. In that first month of treatment, my little old man improved rapidly. It was like he had a new body! I am very disappointed to see the bad reviews. Dr. Lehman was very kind to me 11 years years ago when my beloved cat died. They cremated him with no cost to me because I was short of money at the time. It's a running joke in the Williamsburg pet community that Dr. Eisner will lecture everyone about diet and insist that we cook for our animals. But I hear she advocates raw food now. I have been coming here do the last few years and I have to say I truly enjoy my experience An love all the Doctors They are all very caring .
I've been bringing my pets to Dr. Lehman and North Side for 20 years. They are incredibly conscientious, always clear about the pros and cons of treatments and they genuinely care about animals. They will call on a weekend, are incredibly thorough about discussing lab results and never push you into excessive treatment. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else, and I have a lot of them.
Great vet great peoples they take really good care of my dog for 1 year now. nothing to complain about. it's a really hard job they doing a really hard one ! But they doing it right ! 4 stars cuz I wait 20 to 40 min most of the time but again they do a really hard job ... love
I've been going to this vet for about 10 years and I won't deny the waiting area can be cramped and sometimes Dr. Eisner can seem abrupt BUT the vets here are very knowledgeable and really care about the animals. They all have different bedside manners but it brings me great comfort to know the people examining my dogs know what they're doing. I've been to other vets in the area and it stops here for me. When I moved to the neighborhood I first set up appointments for my dogs at Williamsburg Animal Clinic on Grand St, because it is slightly closer to where I live. The place was dirty, small and poorly laid out, and it took forever to check out because the staff was so swamped. Then I found Northside, which is much better. I've been using them for two years for routine checkups and vaccinations for my dogs. Admin staff in my experience has been efficient but very nice.
