I have had excellent care here with my pet. The staff is friendly and the front desk women who helped me today (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name) went above and beyond to help get my medical records from an unprofessional vet. Highly recommended and I will be back!

I could not be more pleased with the service I have received from Northside. I have been taking my approx. 7-year old rescue terrier mix here for several years after getting lower quality care from another vet in the Williamsburg area. Doctors Eisner and Leiman have been nothing but professional, patient, informative, and extremely attentive. The techs and reception staff are amazing too. Ginger in particular is incredible. Great Vet Office. Really caring doctors who know their stuff. Noticed things that other vets didn't even bother to check. Costs are affordable. Our dog doesn't even mind going!

We've been going here since our pup was just a wee 8 weeks old. I've always found the care she receives exceptional and thorough. It can be crowded at times as they are very popular, so that's understandable. The vet techs (Agnes, Pamela, Ginger, and there's a guy but I forget his name!) are all so caring and amazing as are the reception staff. My usually chill and healthy cat woke me up crying and yowling. I called Northside on a friend's recommdendation and left a message. They called me back promptly, even though i had no history with them. The vets were busy but managed to squeeze me in for an emergency appointment. I saw Dr. Leiman, and highly recommend him. Once you have an appointment, you can fill out the basic intake form online, and thus can spend waiting room time with your companion animal, and not with a clipboard. 1. The vets here are incredibly sweet and really know their stuff. I've been bringing my dog here for the past five or six years and have always felt very welcome and taken care of. My issue is what others have mentioned about "upselling" and pushing expensive tests, insurance, etc. I had been suspecting this "upselling" for a few years and really confirmed it when I had an emergency and NVC didn't have any openings. We have read some of the negative reviews and I'm surprised. Most of the places that you will take your pet or even doctors you go to yourself will try and up sell you. As in any situation, you have the right to say no. With that said, we took our American Staffordshire to Northside Veterinary because he was continuously breaking out on his legs even after we changed his food, tried medicated shampoo, etc. When we made the appointment, they called a day before to make sure he was ok and to ask if his symptoms had worsene... read more

I had a great experience at Northside, taking my cat there for the first time for a checkup. Dr. Leiman was extremely helpful and thorough in explaining what he was checking for and why. I felt the price for checkup and full lab work was very good compared to other vets I have visited. I also felt he was doing only what was necessary and not pushing for unnecessary tests or procedures. The welcome packet of resources was also very helpful and a nice touch.
