My cat and I really like Dr. Leiman, I believe he is one of the best Vet in Williamsburg. This five star review is giving for Vet team. They are really good! The preview bad review definitely because of the front desk and operation.
Customer service has definitely improved! The techs and doctor treat my very nervous/biting dog very well and not at all like a nuisance.
Business response:
Dear Kasia, It's disappointing that the situation escalated to this point, we only want to do what's best for your pet. The owners, Doctors and the team at Northside Veterinary Clinic are extremely dedicated to the animals, and certainly want to have great relationship with their owners. We take your comments with the utmost concern, and will work to improve our client experiences. I have been hired by Northside Veterinary Clinic to help address these concerns. I will be at the clinic on Tuesday, if you'd like to speak with... read more
The BEST place to take your animal for care. Period. I have been taking my 17 year old dog there since she was 5 years old, and I know without their knowledge and care at Northside, I would have lost her 3 years ago. In my experience, the entire staff is 100%. They are extremely knowledgable, take their time to listen and treat properly, and most importantly, they CARE. This is a review that I probably should have written years ago, but I don't normally write reviews. I have had such incredible experiences over the years wit... read more
A year ago, my previous vet discovered a small mammary tumor on my dog Peanut and recommended that we have it surgically removed. The vet I brought her to for the surgery told me that it would not be possible to operate given Peanut's physical condition, and she gave her a prognosis of six months to live. Eight months later, the tumor had grown exponentially and had become infected. As a result, I needed to take Peanut to an emergency vet. I was certain the vet would recommend euthanasia and I was surprised when instead he u... read more
I've been going to Northside for over 12 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else in the world. I'm rarely compelled to write reviews but I'm shocked by all of the negative feedback about Northside on Yelp. My dogs have had issues ranging from cancer to heart problems, and I am eternally grateful to Northside for helping them stick around for so long. The vets all have a different flavor (you know, like all people do), but they are all also knowledgeable, accessible and caring. The vet techs and front desk staff are also incred... read more
This was my first visit and I'm so glad it worked out the way it did. My rescue cat of four months had to have all her teeth extracted on Tuesday at the Animal Medical Center and I brought her home on Wednesday with a fentanyl patch on her leg that I was told I could carefully remove today. I was also told it could be "difficult" to remove. I truly did not feel comfortable removing the patch on my own as it's hard to hold this cat, much less cut or peel something off of her fur (!)--especially after she's so extra fearful ... read more
Our kitten was acting lethargic and had a swollen lymph node, so I called Northside right before they opened in a panic trying to figure out what was wrong with our bitty girl. Dr. Eisner called me back on her way into the office and was so kind as I explained what was going on, and even though they had a fully-booked day, she was so accommodating and was able to squeeze our kitten in since it was an emergency. Dr. Leiman determined it was a fever and treated her right away, and was just wonderful as he explained what was go... read more
Adopted a pup a week ago during COVID-19 and needed a local vet to follow-up with for his initial appointment. Northside was so great! Quick to reply by email, and very professional. Easy, no wait appointment. Running with the proper COVID protocols. Most importantly, they took amazing care of my pup and the doc called me from the room to walk me through what he needed. Highly recommend!
I am new to the neighborhood and our new Newfoundland puppy addition to my other two dogs prompted my first well puppy visit to Northside veterinary clinic. Immediately upon entering (and keep in mind how tired a staff must be at 6:30 PM on a Tuesday), both receptionists were truly welcoming and helpful with the onboarding paperwork for all three of my dogs and the intake forms for the puppy. My puppy who I just had adopted from Ohio was treated so thoroughly by Dr. Ramos and so wonderfully, I can't speak highly enough as up... read more
