I've been coming to Oil Stop for over a decade and have always had excellent service. Perhaps this was an off day? Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible. The employees just seemed very low energy and distracted. I arrived at 8:15 and they directed me pull into Bay 1 behind the car being serviced. This should be quick, I thought. WRONG! I didn't leave until 9:30. I was asked if I wanted something to drink and I requested a bottle of water that never arrived. I had a great experience here. After going to valvoline on Mendocino ave , I was traumatized and very nervous about things like this. Everyone was super sweet and it was quick, I was in and out in under an hour ! They did an amazing job. Didn't try to upsell anything

Upon pulling up around 11:00am on 1/15/2022, I was told it would be an hour and 20 minute wait and that they were short staffed. I said no problem. Within 40 minutes, work on my vehicle started. Marco was great as was Brandon. They worked efficiently and with quality. I paid $119 for the Chevron synthetic oil at 5.7 quarts, a premium filter, and 33 point inspection. I left at 11:53am. I'm very satisfied. I'll be returning.
On Tuesday the 28 of Dec. 2021 I got to the oil stop at 8:20am there was one car ahead of me . At 8: 40 am I was ask to drive up inside ,I let the young man know I have a appointment at 9:15am on the other side of the Coddington mall at the SSN office, he understood and told me I would make it not to worry, at 9:00 A.M. Came into to an oil change on friday. Everything was going fine until a service tech, Brandon was putting the oil in and not paying attention and spilled a good amount of oil all over my engine. He wasn't holding the funnel secure to the fill hole and was being careless. He notified me of the spill and proceeds to grab an unmarked spray bottle and spray all over the engine compartment. Look at the managers response to my review. He does not deny the fact that this location has been ripping customers off for almost 8 years if not longer. He also did not deny their practice of mixing their own synthetic blend oils directly in customers engines! Using 2 different types of oils that were not formulated or tested to mix together in a blend. "In a pinch it is ok to top your oil off a 1/2 quart or so that would be fine. This place makes getting your oil changed a pleasure I got some good service from Hector today on this 17th day of July and I'm very happy with the service I recommend this place to anybody.
I came her for an oil change because I had a coupon. If this is the case for you - I strongly suggest just saving your money. I sat in one of the bays with my car off in the 80 degree heat for over 45 mins before I stopped killing time on my phone and started trying to figure out why no one was paying attention to me.. someone finally noticed and got started on my car. Unbelievable bad service. Rude employees. Waited over1-1/2 hours for just an oil change. Employees had to take a lunch break. I told them I only wanted an oil change. The so called oil change was $181.60. I'll never stop at any Oilstops again. I can just imagine what they do when women show up.
