Awesome customer service is alive and well in Petaluma. Oilstop guys at the Petaluma location continue to amaze. Early this week, coming off the E. Washington overpass my Battery light came on and my power steering stopped. I was fortunate enough to be able to pull into the strip mall across from the swim center. I opened my hood an first thing I saw was the belt hanging low in my engine. Knowing Oilstop will change Serpentine Belts, I called to see if they would help. I'm incredibly grateful for Oilstop and the work that they do. Customer service like this is, unfortunately, very rare these days. I find the excellent customer service and commitment to their mission statement as a company to be evident and refreshing each time I go. Initially I had difficulty feeling pressured by all the questions that they ask but they have proven to be true to the literature that they hand out in the way that the accept no to the questions without any additional sales pressure. They do not begin the oil change in the order that people arrive and when you question them, they tell you the manager is in a meeting... that's why it's taking so long.. no way to run a business.. even with the discount I have my doubts about coming back

This place used to be my go to . I always had great service . However the last time I noticed they did not do all the 33 point things with the service . Now I noticed a leak . A mechanic said the oil filter wasn't tightened correctly and it leaked . So we had to replace it and it costed money . The people working are not staying so the new people aren't as good and therefore will not return . Great service! We typically do our own oil changes but this time were unable to, so we decided to go to Oilstop. We felt very well taken care of, the employees were hospitable, offering us a beverage before & after the maintenance was completed & walking us through their process every step of the way. We were helped by 3 gentlemen, Malik, Zach & Dakota they were all very friendly & professional. I returned Oil Stop after not visiting for two years because in the past, their staff were very annoying in how they presented additional, optional products. Now, their teams are better trained. They have an easygoing dialogue with you and oblige comfortably when they hear that you're on a budget. With that aside, it's a pleasant more down to earthy experience. I went to the OilStop on Washington Street and was very satisfied with the service; especially with Zach the team leader. Now that is a great employee! Knowledgeable, efficient, and answered all my questions. Unfortunately, the shop got busy and Zach couldn't complete the service so I was handed over to another tech. That tech didn't attach the service receipt to email billing. I'm not too fond of the email billing. I would rather have the hard copy receipt in hand when leaving the shop. They over-torqued my oil drain plug bolt. Will not be going back and will be warning my family/friends not to go here.
