Our vehicle was hit by a driver insured by Pekin. We took the car to the body shop to be fixed and was provided a loaner vehicle so that we wouldn't be without a car. Our car is now completed and it's time to take the loaner back however we will be unable to leave with our personal vehicle due the adjustor from Pekin working on the case has not sent out payment to the body shop for the loaner. This Claim departments is the worse company. They treat everyone with complete disrespect. You can call them 10 times and not return phone calls. You can send 10 emails and nothing. WORST COMPANY EVER. DON'T GET PEKIN YOU WILL GET SCREW!!!

Been waiting for a check from the insurance which they said they mailed days ago. Driver with pekin insurance hit me then yelled profanities at me and insurance has been real slow at sending payment leaving me and my family waiting and waiting and leaving me without a car to get to work. They sure couldn't wait to get my car out of the salvage yard to save them money on the storage. I should of waited till I got payment before allowing that to happen. Cause now it seems like they are in no hurry whatsoever.

Very dissatisfied with the quality of service on a claim. Adjuster named Desiree came out and couldn't get up on my roof and told me that I don't have any damage on my roof but I do have on my skylights and gutters. How can you say I don't have damage on my roof if you can't get up on it to assess? I spoke to her boss and he is backing her up stating that she said she called and didn't call because I've checked my phone records and said she could've dialed the wrong number but in that case wouldn't she contact maybe my loca... read more

While Pekin Insurance is committed to providing all our customers with excellent service, for obvious safety reasons, we do not require our adjusters to climb onto any roof with a steep pitch. In this case, we hired an engineer to inspect the roof. The findings of the engineer concurred with those of our adjuster. Our adjuster then provided an estimate for the covered damages to aluminum gutters, downspouts, and flashings, for which a check was quickly issued. I have been a vendor for Pekin Insurance for over 20 years, and they are one of the small handful of insurance companies I work with that are customer service driven. They are always on a "win-win" playing field. Tough to find that in today's insurance Environment.
This place is a joke. Our car, that was sitting in our driveway, was totalled by a car covered by Peking Ins. They told us before their "investigation" that they were probably going to deny the claim because the lady driving wasn't responsible because she was getting beat up by her boyfriend. They wouldn't even write our insurance company a letter so we could get it covered under uninsured motorist. We will see you in court.
