Hello there! I just sent an email to one of your adjusters, a Mr. Keith Brady, regarding a claim (Number H7-Z49-408) resulting from the house fire of one of your poor customers. Being that our houses are somewhat close together, their fire broke three of my windows, yet you claim "lack of liability" in the matter. Mr. Suter: Thanks for your message. We have looked into the claim and found the following. Our insured’s property caught on fire and also damaged property of several neighbors. Pekin Insurance hired what is referred to as a “Origin and Cause expert” to determine the cause of the fire. The Origin and Cause Expert could not determine the cause of the fire. Customer service is non existent. Call center employees are rude and patronizing. Not helpful and operate under the assumption that customers are ignorant.
This is a terrible insurance company that will try to get out of paying for damages caused by one of their insured. Their claims rep Gabriela Walke is rude and ignores calls and emails but then lies and says she left me a voice-mail but won't respond to tell me what it is. She then mailed me a check for half of the amount they owe with no explanation. When I asked questions about what's being covered she snapped at me and rudely told me that I would have to figure that out with the body shop and that wasn't her problem. They... read more

As a contractor who deals with homeowners insurance companies on a daily basis Pekin insurance seems to be one of the most uncooperative there is I am very disappointed that anyone would use this insurance company for the auto or home I will never recommend Pekin insurance company as I said I deal with insurance companies every day on a daily basis I have requested them to give me a call to take care of the matter as of yet no one has responded
