I have been a PennyMac customer for years and recently decided to refinance. I could not have been more pleased. Everything exceeded my expectations!
Good company, knowledgeable employees
After my loan closed, we found out our closing numbers were wrong and instead of $2,000 back, we should have received $200 and some dollars. We had to write a check back to service link. Then we received paperwork for our "new" loan and the address is incorrect. Really? It seems like pretty incompetent work.
The automated email format was not user friendly. It had come documents waiting for signature that were not required for my loan. In addition, I received an e-mail saying my loan would be disapproved for lack of documentation, when what was being asked for was not required. While this was resolved, and I believe this was not Xavier’s fault, it did create unnecessary stress during the process.

PennyMac made the whole process very simple and they had excellent communication. Any time I had a question I either got an answer immediately or received a return call very quickly. I would definitly do business with them again.
The individual we worked with was not organized which made our experience frustrating and stressful.
I already had a loan with PennyMac using my VA loan. I need to get my monthly payments lowered after I separated and they made it quick and easy. I have a lower payment and lower interest rate now.
My experience with Bridget Manassarian was exceptional. It was a breeze and highly recommend PennyMac to anyone looking to refinance. Bridget called every week to update me on the loan. I never felt like I was on pins and needles knowing I was in good hands.
