I have had my Mortgage with PennyMac for 5 yrs and have been happy. I recently refinanced, and this experience was HORIBLE. This has taken almost 2 months to complete. I completed everything I needed to do quickly and then waited for them for over a week to go on to the next step. I will be looking into moving my Mortgage as soon as I can after the first of the year. Very very unhappy customer.

Better web site, team coordination. Sometimes started new loans because unsure of exactly where I was in the process. System should not let you began another loan until you've completed an earlier one.

Beware this company. Horrible customer service. And hope you never have to deal with the lost draft department. It's obvious it's some type of scam where they don't want to reissue your insurance claim. Check quickly so they can earn interest off your money. They say they don't get documents. They require absolutely ludicrous amount of paperwork. They push things off scrutinize every single document. Very apparent it's a scam to make interest off everyone's insurance checks while you sit with your house or up by a storm ... read more
