Customer service is horrible. They will be polite when trying to get your business but the minute you need help with account after that you will get different results and I mean immediately. Just try calling and addressing a problem without asking to speak to a loan specialist. It's ridiculous. I would t recommend them to anyone and I'm in the process of refinancing as we speak

Grace went above and beyond to make sure she answered all my questions. She was very responsive. I have never had to call her and not been able to speak to her. She would even call back because she see a missed call from me. Thank you so much, Grace. It was such a pleasure working with you.

I will NEVER go through pennymac again in my life! I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Their customer service was horrible after waiting 39 minutes to talk to a live person they were rude and acted like they didn't know what was going on. There was absolutely no communication between my loan officer and loan processing agent. They were both telling me completely different things. Absolute worst experience with a mortgage company. The customer service is beyond awful. I attempted to refi and the loan officer just stopped making contact. I will switch lenders as the first opportunity.

I got a VA loan from another lender. Like some lenders do they sell your loan to another lender or debt collector, often without your knowledge or approval of buys your loan. Unfortunately ours was sold to Pennymac. With that being said all customers should be treated fairly.
