Do NOT get a loan from this company. They are horrible. Our story in a short form. We sent over 2500.00 to them to pay our house insurance, they already took the money out of our escrow which is what should be done. But then deposited our check into our loan principal instead of our escrow. I always set up our monthly payments thru our bank a year at a time, which all was paid. I started my refinance loan processing on 9th Dec 2025 with Equitable mortgage and was about to close with them on 30th Dec. As they arranged to pay-off my existing loan to Pennemac, their loan officer, Max, called me with promise of better rate and lower closing fees than Equitable mortgage so I can stay with Pennemac. Bringing down my credit score claiming late payments even though I was paid ahead several months for each claimed "late payment". Not sure if they do this to collect late fees or to pressure customers into not paying early, but poor business practice.
