Borrower beware! You may received 10 soliciting calls a day after closing a loan with PennyMac. They automatically opt you in to share all your information with partner companies. I have been blocking calls for 4 months now, listed my number on a do not call registry, and continue to receive at least 4 call daily! I have never had such a horrible experience with a mortgage company before.

Called today wanted an explanation in plain language as to why I was denied an escrow termination request. Just wanted to get a simple breakdown on what I needed to do and maybe get something in writing so I could go over it better. Got the run around on the phone and wasn’t told exactly why I was denied just basically what it “might” be. Lady seemed very confused and was very hard to follow.
