Had family and medical issues that was going to prevent me from making a payment for 3 months. Called PennyMac to make arrangements about these payments to try and get them moved to the end on the loan or add additional money to the existing payment plan that I was paying and paying early and had made extra payments through adding money to my loan account payments. Jimmy Kim did an exceptional job by lowering my interest rate down to 5.00%. Rocket Mortgage offered 4.99%. Management seemed to intervene, and points were added that he had no control over. As soon as my credit was run by PennyMac I received over 50 calls from competing companies. If not for Jimmy's initial dealing IU would have chosen Rocket Mortgage due to their lower administrative costs. Sandra Benavidez came along and ensured the deal closed promptly.
