Extremely poor experience with PennyMac. From the very beginning, the process was confusing, slow, and completely disorganized. My wife and I applied for a HELOAN and were promised that everything would move quickly since all documents were already submitted during a previous loan attempt. That turned out to be false. Instead, we kept receiving endless requests for the same documents — sometimes 20+ items that had already been uploaded weeks or even months earlier. We had one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences with PennyMac. Our HELOAN application has been dragging on for months with zero progress and absolutely no professional coordination between team members.
