The originating loan agent needs better email etiquette (short, informal responses) and follow through. Barry, the processor was great. We closed this past Tuesday and still do not have the funds. That is too long.
too much paperwork
Our loan officer was right on top of things. Only thing that would have made it better would have been knowing how much we could cash-out on our manufactured home. Overall it was a smooth and great experience, and would recommend them to anyone.
Agreed. Also, the mechanisms for payout (checks, payoffs, and sequence of PennyMac payoff were not smooth and frustrating)

After the sale of a property that was financed with Pennymac, per their customer service agents and “managers”, that due to their processes and procedures, I am now left without the return of my escrow and unused mortgage insurance. Further, I've spent countless hours on the phone with them, only to hear “sorry, I am unable to help you.
