I have been with Pennymac for years and they have always done a good job. I recently refinanced and the process was smooth and easy. They call to keep you updated on where the loan process is and ask to see if you have any questions. Linda Frazier was my loan officer and she did a great job, very professional.
Our closing was delayed, which incurred us expenses, due to incorrect direction/requests for documents. Same documents were requested multiple times, only to be told later in the process were told incorrectly that screen shots were OK. Our closing date was updated and chsnge to contract submitted but loan processor stated it wasn't received yet Latoyka said they could not honor the updated closing date that they had to go by the original closing date but we didn't find this out until 3 days before closing at which time she w... read more

Overall communication. I emailed a ton because I could not clearly understand Liem very well, and this information from the appraisers to the loan people were not clearly communicated, so we had to do a lot of digging on our own to find out what the hold up was.
