PennyMac is the absolute worst. I have bought 3 houses with 3 different mortgage companies and I have NEVER worked with a company as incompetent as PennyMac. Due to assuming a loan I had to work with PennyMac through their assumption dept. The experience started off with receiving an email from their loan processor that would be collecting all needed information and processing the loan assumption.
