The entire team was very easy to work with and made what should be a stressful process, very easy.

Tanairy was great and worked very hard to get everything across the finish line despite some last minute delays by the builder and VA Appraiser. The only thing I would like to see, after going through 2 x mortgages with PennyMac, would be improvement on the Portal Experience. The Portal is a great way to upload documents. However, in previous mortgages, the companies used the portal to also communicate directly back and forth, in a continuous chat stream. Pennymac is the slimiest mortgage company. THEY messed up our escrow calculation and are charging US fees for THEIR mistake and putting that into a short. I’m pretty sure that’s illegal. They bought our mortgage from another company because they are predators!!

Great overall Experience
Loan officer was great to work with but the Home Loan Specialist gave inaccurate information to the underwriter and they assumed they knew the answer and I was never asked about the issue in question until after the fact and it almost caused me to not be approved for my loan. Everything was working and moving along great until the home loan specialist got involved.
The customer service was excellent the whole process was streamlined and there were no Kings in her closing at all.
If I could leave a 1 Star review I would this company basically took my money completely lied to me about my refinance after 2 months of calling back and forth with this company and being told “we will have a supervisor call you” and nobody called me I got half my money back and it is now almost 6 months later and I still don’t have a full refund absolute worst company not military friendly at all if you are using a VA home loan look elsewhere.
