Even though I could have tried shopping for a lower APR with other lenders, my confidence in PennyMac influenced my decision. Every employee I communicated with were courteous, patient with me, helpful, kind and cemented my belief that I was doing the right thing. In my humble opinion, that level of professionalism is extraordinary today.
Documents were requested multiple times. When asked for clarification, it took numerous attempts to get an answer. When I did get an answer, it was typically from a new person than I had already worked with and they had little to no knowledge of the process or my information up until that point. Additionally, I received different answers from different people. When given a "follow-up date" on which I was told to expect a call, that rarely happened on the date mentioned. Everything was terrific!
This was the fastest and cleanest refinances I've ever done! The entire team was very responsive.
My loan switched hands to many times for my liking. We’d call in and reach someone who was supposed to be on our Mac team and every person would tell us different things to do. I’d get a request for paperwork that I didn’t even know what it was for and would have to call the realtor. To much of a hassle and to much stress.
Everything was great, loan closed on time
Throughout my home buying process, I dealt with Armond Arakelian and Eric Haywood. This was my first time purchasing a home and they made this process so smooth. I dealt with Eric the most and he went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us in this process. We 10/10 recommend them both!
