Many times I was asked for the same documents. The preapproval paperwork wasn’t reviewed properly and I had to rescan that paperwork as well. I was told inaccurate information on how to verify my employment and I figured it out that it was my wife’s employment. I was told we would close on time 48 hours before and that was not true.
More clarification on what documents were missing.

Overall communications with PennyMac were difficult not only for me, but the title company as well. The original expectation of purchasing the home combined were not understood. Full understanding of what documents were required was not understood by the myself or the loan processors. The closing was delayed due to a request for a document that was not expressed up front or possible to provide. While Nicole was helpful she became involved at the end. The turnover in people increased the difficulty and confusion.
Closing process was smooth and quick
Getting the loan done on the first try before the interest rates went up. And getting the second loan done within the original time frame. This whole process was way too long.
Very kind and hard working!
Numbers should be looked at closely before telling customer what they would get back, and not changed several times, without notifying them. Or at least tell them it could changed for less, then telling them it will be more.
