I really liked the process. The only hang up was getting a corrected closing document review after discussion. Also, I should have been asked to verify the payoff amount on all debts we were consolidating. Also, it was not clear as to what debts were to be paid directly by PM at closing, and what checks we would be getting to send out.

Proper communication, We had a very very hard time with someone getting back to us when they promised they would, this was very frustrating process :(

It seemed the team from PennyMac were not all on the same page, it was very frustrating at times. Paul tried , I felt, to get me info and to try and wrap up everything in a timely manner.

When I started this process I was told we’d get the $22k cash and our monthly payment would be $1985. I geared all of my information and the start date for my job was entered incorrectly so we spent over a week going back and forth to get that fixed so the system would stop asking me for paperwork that didn’t exist. I finally had to call to get it resolved after I’d been told it was fixed. Then we get the paperwork and the cash out was set at $18k. $4k less than what I was told.
