It was a pleasure to work with PennyMac.
Underwriting took too long and required too many documents. They requested the same documents multiple times and could not understand a private mortgage I had with my mother. They could not see that I paid off PayPal and actually overpaid even though I provided a statement showing that fact. We could have closed much sooner if they didn't have such an issue understanding PayPal. The document portal is pitiful. Once a document is uploaded, there is not way to upload additional documents.
