The underwriter missed several of things including things on the appraisal reports which held things up even after they approved them once. I had to mis the first closing officer because penny Mac failed to send the proper paperwork to the closer as well.

Danyell was great and was really trying to help push the refinance closing forward. Unfortunately the title company caused many delays and the loan closing was cancelled twice, the third time we actually signed the documents, but the documents had an error and so we had to schedule a 4th time with the title company to sign the documents a second time. The overall process was very frustrating. We had initially reached out in August, and just closed on the refinance in November.

We refinanced our loan through the same company as our original loan. From start to finish it was very simple to get this done. The amount of paperwork gathering didn't feel overwhelming and every step was explained for us. The online portion was very easy to use to sign papers and was easy to understand. Our loan actually closed quicker than I expected and we ended up with a much better rate through the refinance.
