Specifically, what made my experience refinancing with PennyMac great was 100% due to the efforts of two employees, Donald Cook and Larry Rivers. I feel they went above and beyond to answer my MANY questions and to quickly get our closing done. They were very courteous and friendly which I appreciate. THANK YOU DON AND LARRY! -Adam S.

I was not pleased at all with last aspects of the process. information at the last step prior to the actual closing were poorly communicated. There appeared to be some confusion about an additional item needed. After contacting Mr. Becks and finding out that there was an internal mistake which he was not aware and resulted in having to reschedule the closing. In addition it seemed like the total process took much longer than initially stated. In fact it required an extension of time.

The communication was poor during a difficult closing process. We scheduled our closing 4 times and it was canceled due to the mobile notary not receiving the paperwork in time. No one called to communicate this with me I had to call and track down someone to talk to each time to figure out what was going on. Additionally, people would say they would call me back and then NEVER did. It was so frustrating!

With today's technology and mobility, it wasn't too big of an issue, but during the refinance process we shared with our loan representatives certain dates we would be out of town so we could schedule a time to sign closing documents at our home. It turned out that we ended up signing closing documents while we were visiting our son and his family in a different part of the country. The signing went quickly, but we ended up having to work our schedule around time we had planned for our family.

I had a lot of issues with getting the correct legal description but once Barbara took over it was a breeze. She was on top of everything and was amazing to work with. She definitely turned my experience into a positive one.

Aida was an abysmal LO. She was often rude, crude, brash, and unhelpful. Every question I asked was met with "That is not in my scope of work so I cannot answer that question." when I know for a fact they are. As someone who also works in the loan industry, I could not imagine treating my customers the way Aida treated me. This was unfortunate due to the fact Taylor and Orlando were great. I would recommend Aida be put in a position with far less human interaction, with far less responsibility.
