The process took way too long. Calls were not answered and always directed to the same mailbox. It seemed like PennyMac only employs one person. While I was signing the closing documents I had questions. The notary’s attempts to reach someone and mine went no where. I felt Aida was a bit curt but tried to understand the pressure she must be under. Hire more people. Be response on a timely basis.

Had to haggle and prove that another company was giving a better rate before they offered to match. At closing was told I was receiving about a thousand, turned out they charged me about 80$ and then refunded it. I understand they are extremely busy but considering we are all struggling for money that one thousand could have helped and the constant changing at the last minute is ridiculous. Reason I stayed was because I was out the appraisal and the rate was good after they price matched.

Everyone was very efficient,professional and personal with the communication and expectations and very helpful thru the entire process
