Everyone was really helpful. Response time to my inquiries were always timely.
I don’t know if it was due to Covid. But there was a lot of miscommunication throughout the process. Unresponded emails, no calls back.

A couple of emails at the end of the process were never replied to. Our closing documents misspelled my husband's name, which is one of the things I tried to correct before closing. He had to strike and initial every page that required his signature. I received phone calls at 7:15 am on a Saturday, but when I returned the call had to leave a VM and never received a return call.
Overall I had a good experience, and I would recommend my friends. Loan officer was excellent with communication and explaining everything. He was very knowledgeable.
My husband and I are very pleased with the overall service we received from PennyMac. Right from the start, they were very prompt and professional. Richard was excellent. He was timely and answered all our questions. We were extremely satisfied with the overall process of refinancing our home. THANK YOU, PENNYMAC!
